OUR STORY
COVER’D began with something deeply personal.

COVER'D founder, Dee, grew up in Western Australia, where the sunshine feels endless and the UV index is always high. Like most people, she spent her life outdoors: beaches, backyards, road trips, long summer afternoons that felt harmless at the time.

Then her family’s world changed.

A loved one was diagnosed with skin cancer. The kind of diagnosis that stays with you and makes you rethink every unprotected moment in the sun.

Despite treatment, they passed away.
For Dee, that loss became a turning point. Sun safety stopped being optional and became personal.

She also saw a problem. Most sun-protective clothing was bulky, clinical, or impractical for everyday life. It didn’t suit the way people actually live in WA. It wasn’t breathable, stylish, or easy to wear.

So she made something that was.
COVER’D was created with the belief that protecting your skin shouldn’t feel like a chore or force you to sacrifice your style. It should be comfortable, considered, and effective.
Today, every sleeve, poncho, and piece of neckwear carries that purpose: a simple reminder to protect ourselves and the people we love from something we often don’t notice until it’s too late.
COVER’D isn’t just clothing. It’s peace of mind you’ll actually want to wear.
